It all started with BANFI...

In November 2004, in a phone call, the director of sales Alessandro Niccolai asked:

     "Since you are looking to present Banfi, what else have you been selling up to this moment?''

     ''Shoes and clothes'', answered Vayk simply.

After a short pause Alessandro said:

     ”Sounds very strange, yet quite interesting!''

Completely unaware, the Great manager played a crucial role in the creation of VAYK WINES.

Moreover, two years later the legendary Angelo Gaja honoured us, entrusting to our company the distribution of GAJA — one of the greatest flagmen of the Italian wine industry.

In the span of a few years, with a persistent work, along with our love for good wine and people, we managed to gain the trust of many highly ranked wineries in Europe. We also gained a leading position in HoReCa distribution, offering a rich assortment of outstanding wines from ''the Old Continent".

People are the key to success in our company. The basis of our progress is the love for hard work and the ability to always interpret the needs of the market, as well as the expectations of our clients. We are blessed, because together we have managed to establish a professional team of creative individuals — the real wealth of VAYK WINES.

And so, in 2010 our first and biggest ever shop in the Balkans of high quality wines and spirits ''Vinello'' opened its doors to the world.

Our portfolio is our pride — dedicating our hearts and souls to it, we’ve created possibly one of the best wine portfolios. We are happy to work with exceptionally prominent wineries, which have proven themselves in their own countries and have deserved the right to pass on a part of their culture and traditions all over the world.

However regardless of the geographical position, be it Bordeaux or Toscana, Burgundy or Ribera del Duero, Maipo Valley or Marlborough, we always care for one terroir — the incredible world of wine.

Today, VAYK WINES imports and distributes to the Bulgarian market more than one thousand different wines, high quality spirits, as well as energy drinks of all price categories. The logistic organization of the company includes importing, own HoReCa — distribution, direct “door-to-door” sales, VIP sales, an exclusive chain of VINELLO shops, as well as "off-trade" distribution. Along with our own distribution, we also enjoy a successful partnership with other leading distributors in the country.

And so, born with inspiration, today VAYK WINES is a label in the world of wine — an importer, distributor and retailer. Our wines delight the hearts of wine lowers and enrich the wine lists of high-class restaurants in the country. You can hardly find a small pizza place or a posh restaurant that doesn’t introduce our wines. We are honoured, when daily, so many people in Bulgaria, fill their souls over a glass of wine from our portfolio, while sharing great moments with their friends and family.
