The boat which decorates this label is the mythical galleon of the famous Chateau Beychevelle which sponsored the creation of Grand Bateau.

Pleasant aromas of exotic fruit (orange rind and honeyed grapefruit) with notes of buttery-vanillin oak. On the palate, the wine is round, fleshy with wonderful minerality and again, delightful exotic fruit flavours. The new-oak flavours are present. Very nice balance between the oak, fruit and acidity. Excellent finish. Perfect as an apéritif or served with seafood, grilled fish, white meats and/or cheeses.
