The boat which decorates this label is the mythical galleon of the famous Chateau Beychevelle which sponsored the creation of Grand Bateau.
Expressive nose of ripe red fruits (plums, prunes, cherries), spices, with an elegant touch of new oak. On the palate, the wine is immediately harmonious and seductive with velvety ripe-fruit flavours wonderfully cradled by the new oak. Medium bodied with ripe tannins and a savoury finish. Perfect for drinking now and ideally over the next few years. Can be served alone, as an apéritif, and equally enjoyable with red meats (game), pasta and cheeses.
