The ecological conditions of the Heiligenstein and the Gaisberg have strong similarites. These two adjacent vineyards, separated only by the Grub, are practically one. Geologically, the Gaisberg consists of Gföhler gneiss with a vertical slate structure – optimal for the predestination of a an excellent Riesling vineyard.
Lovely pure, precise and very elegant on the palate this medium to full-bodied, well-balanced and finesseful wine finishes with an impressive precision and persistent salinity mixed with aromas of white peaches and apricots. This is a beautiful dry Riesling indeed.
