From the basin between Heiligenstein and Gaisberg the Grüner Veltliner Grub displays fresh and subtle aromas of ripe peach, citrus, loess, iron and legumes. On the palate there is an impressive mix of ripe and intense fruit, a stimulating transparency and piquancy and a salinity that goes through until the long and persistent, mineral finish. Fermented and aged in traditional large 2,500-liter barrels, this is a full-bodied, complex and very elegant wine of great expression and charm.
