Volnay

This gently sloping parcel, with its splendid old vines, lies mid-slope. Facing east and south-east, it lies on filtering clay-limestone soil enriched with high-quality clays, giving the wine remarkable finesse. Nicknamed "The Chambolle of the Côte de Beaune" because of its smoothness and velvety texture, this 0.7 hectare vineyard is distinguished by its border with Pommard, although its style is totally different. The early harvest preserves the unique elegance of this terroir, creating a wine that is exceptionally refined and soft in its tannins.
