The existence of Cà dei Frati is known to date back to 1782, according to documentary evidence referring to a house with a wine cellar in Lugana, in the land of Sermion, called "the place of the friars” [the name of the winery literally means “house of friars”]. By developing the DOC denomination of controlled origin, the first Lugana Casa dei Frati bottling takes place in 1969. Build on mutual respect, united family, clearly defined roles and close links with local tradition on the banks of Lake Garda, Ca’ dei Frati cherishes the past and looks to the future, focusing today also on research and developing.
