The Domaine Henri Bourgeois is a family estate ran by the XIth generation of the Bourgeois family. Henri Bourgeois, more than 50 years ago, as initiator, orientates the family exploitation towards an activity more viti-cultural leaving little by little the various agricultural structure which was the only way to feed a family at that time. Year after year, on the most dangerous hills, but best exposures, the top quality vine plants were planted on the vineyard increasing each year. The winemaking was very early a subject of continuous improvement in order to let the soil and grape-variety express themselves in a perfect harmony. Today, the work area covers 71 hectares of the Sancerre & Pouilly-Fumé appellations.
