Cearsuolo di Vittoria comes from the countryside of Dorilli, between the sea and Iblean mountains, known as the place of excellent food in Sicily. The name of the only D.O.C.G in Sicily derives from "cesara'', the cherry in Sicilian dialect. It is produced from indigenous grape varieties Nero d'Avola and Frappato. A unique wine, recognisable and unforgettable for its youthful flavours and the aromas of cherry, strawberry and pomegranate, due to the characteristics of soil and climate where the vines are cultivated.
An extremely food- friendly Cerasuolo, admirable for its savory and pepper notes. Perfect with seared tuna steak, only when in season, served with sautéed mushrooms and game birds.
