Curtefranca Rosso is the ultimate red wine of the Franciacorta region of Lombardia. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Nebbiolo, and Barbera. This is a charming bottle with Pinot-like fruit and a rustic nose. An intense but not too meaty wine, supple, mellow and enjoyable. A bracing acidity and floral quality drives this wine forward. An excellent companion for traditional fare, it retains its typical fragrance for many years. It finishes with bright cranberry and spices.
