The colour is intense. The nose if full, rich with berries and floral notes as well as aromas of liquorice, dried herbs and spices that become more pronounced as the wine opens up. On the palate it has a solid structure and a rich softness and lingering finish. it has the ability to age well for many years. Pairs well with game meats, pasta meats, mushrooms, semi aged cheeses.
