The story of the Villa Russiz estate begins in 1869, when Theodore de La Tour creates the property that would subsequently become the Villa Russiz estate. La Tour is the first to perceive the potential that has made Collio wines respected all over the world. Also organized as a charity, non-profitable enterprise the estate of Villa Russiz today covers 94 ha. The wines at Villa Russiz all come under the Collio DOC.
