Charmes Chambertin

Louis Jadot Charmes Chambertin has a deep color and possesses intense aromatic bouquet reminiscent of blackcurrants and the berries of other little red and black fruits. When the wine has matured, it smells musk and fur, and often liquorice. The powerful structure and perfumes of this wine require quite elaborate and strong tasting food: leg of mutton, boeuf bourguignon, game, chicken in wine, game pâtés, strong cheeses (excluding blue veined ones).
