Fleur de Clinet reveals a deep ruby color. The nose is intense, exhaling aromas of blackcurrant, violet, fresh plums and Morello cherries. Together with a sprinkle of Madagascar black pepper. Its attack remains soft, lush and round. The cream texture coats the flavors of freshly picked forest berries and black cherries, mixed to vanilla hints. This fullbodied wine will ideally be appreciated within the next 15 years. This wine will perfectly accompany flavorful (red or white) meat dishes such as roast duck, cornish hens, roast chicken, pork tenderloin, pork chops and soft cheeses such as Morbier, Gouda or goat cheeses like Crottin de Chavignol (avoid Roquefort and arguably Camembert). And of course, will also easily and gracefully accompany simple dishes like pizza and/or most barbecued foods.
