Medium to full bodied with attractive, rich, plummy-berried fruit aromas. Excellent balance, structure and length. Brulières is a stand-out classic Claret rivaling most of the better Bourgeois wines. This wine will perfectly accompany flavorful (red or white) meat dishes such as grilled lamp chops, braised shanks and meat stews. Also harmonious with most cheeses (avoid Roquefort and arguably Camembert). And of course, will also easily and gracefully accompany more simple dishes like pizza and/or most barbecued foods.
